What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Same collection of blocks as yesterday, but set on point.

I like both of these designs … the first as a knee rug, the second for a bed.

This project brings back memories of scribbling block designs on scraps of paper.

They look much better all neat and tidy and in full colour!

All the blocks are the same in these designs, but the placement of colour makes some very different looking stars.

I often wonder why so many star designs are made up with a light background. The stars in the sky show up much better in a dark sky.

Interesting … and in one of my favourite colours.

I am looking forward to being old so I can wear purple!

I like to have at least two colour strips around the edge of the blocks in a quilt, at least an inch or two of one, then a contrast binding. That is the minimum for me, and most times I use two before the binding.

I might have to add some narrow borders tot he designs waiting in this project file.
